The Brasserie Le Lion Experience
In a modern and graphic interior paying tribute to the ‘nouveau réalisme’ (or ‘new realism’) movement that included artists such as Yves Klein, César and Restany, Brasserie Le Lion offers a Bistro/Brasserie menu that is served all day. With retro chairs, ultra-modern sculptures and designer lighting, the ambiance is urban and contemporary.
As an aperitif, try our special Auvergne toasties accompanied by a cocktail during Happy Hour (5 to 8 pm on weekdays). The Brasserie serves pizzas, burgers, toasties and regional specialities in the dining room or on the terrace. For dessert, you can treat yourself to a chocolate mousse, iced raspberry tiramisu, pancakes or waffles.

Sunbathing on the terrace
To simplify your arrival, several car parks are located near the establishment. On sunny days, the terrace is the favorite playground of Leo. Located in front of the statue of Vercingétorix, it captures the light and energy of the place de Jaude. The continuous service ensures that you can find refuge at any time, whether for a morning coffee, a business lunch or an extended aperitif.

Brasserie Le Lion opens every day of the week from midday to 11 pm, with continuous service.
Closed on the evening of 24 and 31 December.

The brewery combines the aesthetics of its architecture with the requirement of its dishes. Our team transforms seasonal products every day to compose generous dishes, deeply rooted in the terroir. The goal is simple: make your business meals, your romantic dinners or your family gatherings a great success.
Every opportunity is good to meet up at the Lion
At lunchtime, the Brasserie offers its "Sur la Griffe" formula to those who are in a hurry, and for the more adventurous its "Le Midi" formula. Not to mention our little lion cubs with its formula dedicated to children.
At dusk, from Monday to Friday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, the Brasserie Le Lion’s Happy Hour is the perfect opportunity to release the pressure and start your Clermont-Ferrand evenings in a good mood. In the evening, take the time to satisfy your desires by browsing our menu. The great classics rub shoulders with artisanal pizzas, whose dough is patiently shaped on site every day by our pizzaiolo.
Theater of your events, Le Lion prepares large tables for your tribe (up to 20 people) and orchestrates your aperitifs dinners, with the possibility to privatize our spaces. Open without interruption throughout the week, the brewery is a reliable place where good food can be enjoyed on a daily basis.
